Flight Operations Data Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Flight Operations Data Analyst to join our client's aviation team. You'll be based in the Middle East on a permanent role. Estimated recruitment period is 3 months from the interview date. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing flight data to improve aircraft performance, optimize flight operations, and support the company's safety management system.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze flight data, including flight parameters, performance data, and maintenance data.
• Develop data models and automation tools to streamline data processing and analysis.
• Monitor the performance of aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, and flight control systems.
• Identify and track trends in flight operations data and develop reports to support regulatory compliance and safety management.
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify operational inefficiencies, develop optimization strategies, and provide recommendations to management.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and flight operations, to identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of flight operations data and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Three years or more of experience in flight operations data analysis in an aviation setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets, create data models, and develop algorithms.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, safety management systems, and flight operations.
• Proficient in using data analysis software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and present data to stakeholders across various departments.
