Documentation control specialist

Basic Function

The Documentation Control Specialist play a critical role in the Aviation Quality Assurance System, he is the responsible and accountable for the management of the company Documentation Control system to make sure that all our Aviation Manuals, Process Forms are controlled and revised as per the company policy and only up to date documents are made available to operation and technical staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

·  4-year degree in an Aviation Safety-related field

·  5+ years’ experience in an Airline or MRO operations Documentation.

·  2+ years Using Comply 365, WEBMANULAS or one of the aviation Documentation Control system 

·  Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Frame Maker and XML editors

·  Familiar with OEM Documentation tools 

·  Thoroughly knowledgeable of GACA/FAA/EASA/IOSA regulations.

·  Comfortable facilitating meetings with all levels of leadership and business partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience using WEBMANULAS

·  Prior experience with MyBoeing Fleet and Airbus World Documentation tools

·  ICAO commercial/ATP pilot certificate, Dispatcher certificate, or A&P certificate

·  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

·  Strong technical writing skills

·  Ability to work under pressure with little supervision

·  Ability to make sound business decisions based on company needs

·  Ability to resolve disagreement in a professional manner with all levels of leadership and business partners

·  Excellent oral and written communication skills

·  Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

·  Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization
