FW Quality Inspector

We are looking for a FW Quality control Inspector for our client for a long term contract; direct hire; recruitment period is estimated to be 3 months from the date of interview. 

Basic Function

Responsible to ensure that aircraft are maintained to an airworthy condition as defined by GACA regulations, manufacturers maintenance specifications and policies and procedures.

Responsible for approving the aircraft for return to service following all maintenance activities, modifications, alterations or repair.

Minimum Qualification and Certifications:

·  GACA Airframe & Powerplant License

·  10 years of experience maintaining and inspecting large transport-category aircraft.

·  At least one or two maint initial training on large transport-category aircraft.

·  Knowledgeable of using various aircraft maintenance measuring/test equipment

·  Familiar with FAA and GACA regulations.

·  2 years of experience preformed maintenance functions under 145 repair station.

·  Knowledgeable in performing a completed inspection work packages audit prior returning aircraft back to service. 

·  Familiar with the basic GACA / FAA regulations related to aircraft maintenance (Parts 39, 43, 65/66, 91, 125, 145, etc) 

·  Knowledge of and able to read ADs, SBs, MTDs to identify applicability and actions required.

·  Knowledge in Return to Service general policy as well as RII tasks.

·  Willing to work different shifts in different bases.

·  Professional English proficiency on both reading & writing

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:

·  A mechanic certification from an ICAO recognized State

·  B737-800 and/or King Air Initial training.

·  Experience with Non-Destructive Testing methods and procedures

·  Experience with engine borescopes and inspections

·  Experience with aircraft mass & balance computations and reports

·  General knowledge of aviation internal and external audit programs
